I have always written odd articles for various newsletters so starting a blog seemed like the thing to do. After all I think I'm an interesting sort of a chap so it's clear that everyone out there will want to hang on my every word....isn't it? Or perhaps not. After all there lots of blogs and and a limited number of readers so I had better make this interesting, and relevant, and good to look at would be nice too!
I aim to write about my interests and the varied things that keep me amused. These range from historical re-enacting (I'm a Roundhead BTW), through motorcycling, folk music, rock music and wargaming, and yes beards are pretty much mandatory for all of those interests so you could call that a common theme. I also read and I like to cook so the odd book review or recipe may creep in from time to time. Mind you if I'm honest a lot will just be random scribblings about whatever takes my fancy from time to time so bear with me.
